The Church at Whistling Pines is governed by a team of Elders. Our Church government is Elder driven, outside counsel protected, and membership strengthened. The Elders set the vision and mission for the church and provide oversight and guidance to ministry leaders.  The elders in this body are equal in function, but differ in the expression of their gifts and in the time they may give to watching over and feeding the flock. The functioning eldership in team ministry is an extension of a functioning priesthood of believers (members). The Lead Pastor/elder leads the Board of Elders in overseeing the day-to-day ministry of the church.
